Description: Intermittent waterbodies fed by groundwater. The lakes and pools of the Cokeville Meadows occupy an old meandering river channel with channel sections and oxbow lakes. Although margins of the Meadows are alkaline, the open waterbodies and adjacent emergent marsh are important habitats for migratory and resident waterfowl.
