Description: Bonito Rio impounded on very narrow floodplain by either old road that has since been washed out or weir for irrigation canal. Road washout has drained much of impoundment and emergent fresh marsh in distance is drying out and seriously stressed allowing more sandbar Willow to invade most of the wetland, as well as some Juniper growing on drier sites within the wetland.
