Description: A recessional moraine from the alpine glacier that occupied this valley around 8 - 10 thousand years ago dammed up Pass Creek forming a moraine lake. Over the years the lake filled in with sediment developing an emergent fresh marsh wetland. A female moose is standing in emergent marsh and scrub-shrub of willow.
