Description: Freshwater wetland dominated by a cattail fresh marsh, with scrub-shrub Russian Olive. Cottonwoods that once occupied most of the site are stressed and dying in the distance. Wetland seems to be the result of impounding an area between the Purgatory River and several irrigation canals on the floodplain.
